The foundation has initially focused on setting up a reforestation program in Nicaragua, the poorest country in Central America and the second poorest in the Western Hemisphere. 95% of the population live in poverty, many rural communities rely on support from NGOs and charities like ROC to improve their standard of living.
The beneficiaries of ROC are mainly rural subsistence farming communities.
